This is my character for the Death Toll chapter... seeing as Joey will most likely be dead before even hitting the Chopper... xD
[Name] Rogen Hawlance
[Gender] Male
[Age] 18
[Type] Human
[Looks]
(The outfit he's wearing)
[Family] Brother. Father and mother dead.
[Orientation] Bi
[Personality Profile] Rogen is a kid just out of High School, he's ready to make a difference in the world since his parents' death when he was 13. But when the horde comes... he loses faith in people, and himself.
[History Report] When Rogen was thirteen, his parents were killed during a house robbery. He and his brother had hid under the bed, having stayed up most of the night watching T.V. their beds were still made. From then on, they lived with the neighbore who had always seen them as her own. A good year after Rogen graduated high school, he was given his parent's money from their will. He and his brother quickly moved out of the care-takers home and into a new one where they would live out the rest of their days.
Rogen was coming home from grocery shopping that night, when he stumbled across a horrific scene. Bodies littered the street, a police Riot unit was at the end shooting down what appeared to be a violent riot. Rogen quickly returned home, finding his brother set on the T.V.
"Stay in your homes..." the new caster had said, "Do not attempt to approach victims of..." The power cut out. Rogen turned around, the door was still open, and a man drenched in blood was running at them. He quickly kicks the door shut, slamms against it, and locks it. He holds it tightly but it only takes a few good hits before a slimey undead hand splits its way through the door.
The hours pass and Rogen and his brother are racing through the woods behind their used to be house. He's careful to lead his younger brother through them, knowing they were slowly climing a large cliff in the proccess. Screams of loud beasts came from behind them, never seeming to hinder in their quest for the boys' flesh. Rogen spots a large climable rock, and points to it, "Go!" He yells, reaching down mid-stride and picking up a sterdy tree limb. Jeremy runs on to the destination, quickly climbing up the rock as his brother beats back the monsters. Rogen quickly runs to the rocks, climbing up just before getting swipped. He pants, looking down wide eyed at the creatures as the attempted to climb the smooth rock, finding no leverage.
The brothers feel safe, and they smile, looking to one another. A sudden scream from afar sends them both into a panic. Jeremy is sitting at the highest point of the rocks, and yells as a small scrappy creatures hits him, flying off the rock and over the ledge. Rogen cries out and quickly climbs to the spot where his brother once sat, eyes tearing up as he watches the creature and his brother being consumed by the mist of the mountainous like region. The cries of the beasts below fall on deaf ears....
[Notes] Rogen has lost his reason for living now. He's not suicidal, but he's not opt to sacrificing himself if need be. He can't trust anyone though, he feels betrayed and destroyed... He sits now on the rock, crying...
